About Virtual Conference

Oceans of Opportunity
Changing The Tide For The Whole Family

The MCAP Annual Human Services Conference will be held virtually October 12-14, 2021. This year’s conference theme: “Oceans for Opportunities” will highlight strategies to improve human service delivery to equip low-income individuals and families with the tools and social support to strengthen their relationships, establish stability and plan together. Human Service professionals and Community Action Agencies throughout Maryland, DC and Delaware come together during this conference to further the mission of helping people and changing lives.

The Community Action Network serves every county in Maryland, DC, and Delaware. Services range from Head Start, nutrition, affordable housing, weatherization, senior care, homeless prevention and more. This virtual gathering presents a great opportunity to ask leading human service professionals questions in real time, speak to and connect with others in the community, interact with our exhibitors and relax in virtual space.

" I think it was great! I have never done a virtual conference before, but now I want to do them regularly. It was so easy to get information and follow the schedule. And it was nice to not have to drive, have unlimited space for attendance in each session, and have the recordings available to view missed sessions. " Anonymous
